The Sasta brand originated in 1969, when founder Urpo Saastamoinen - unable to find suitable hunting clothing in his native Finland - decided to create a frieze-suit for himself. The suit immediately caught the attention of Urpo's hunting friends, and provided a unique functionality that was unheard of at the time. Today, Sasta is still run by the same family, continuing to develop world-class garments that combine modern technology with the traditions and craftsmanship of over 45 years of experience.
