Great basha, good size, easily fit 3/4 persons under. Comes with string to tie if required - I prefer bungees. Good quality and great price :)

First, this was a very smooth transaction considering it was an international purchase. The tarp itself feels very high quality, Fjallraven does not use taped seams and instead uses small needles in their seams with thread that swells when wet, in turn making it waterproof. VERY smart design and top notch materials. Being ultralight I would not take it out in winds higher than say 40mph because it does stretch a bit when wet. It's tough for what it is, just don't overdo it. Would suggest steep angles in snow to avoid snow loading. Very happy with mine, the colour is really nice, the photo does NOT do it justice. As far as ultralight gear goes, this is a 10 out of 10. You won't be disappointed.

I purchased this tarp because it seemed like it was the only tarp available that did not have those horrible clear taped seams, I got fed up with them not lasting as the tape eventually parts company with the material it is bonded to. The abisko tarp has what I can only describe as a French seam that joins the two parts down the centre, the patches where the loops are attached are very well made and the finish is first class. They must use a very small needle when they are made. The tarp comes with six Dyneema guy lines with plastic locks and more fixing points than you will ever need, it now comes with a separate drawstring stuff sack for holding the tarp. The abisko tarp has a silicone coating and this sheds the heaviest rain with ease. The thing I really like about this tarp is the pine green colour, I put the tarp up in a woodland and walked about thirty yards away and when I looked round it had blended in with the environment perfectly. My only gripe with the tarp is that the guy lines supplied are a bit short and should be at least five metres long and not the two and a half metres supplied so come on Fjallraven fix this issue. Silicone spray is readily available when the time comes to re-proof. The tarp is not cheap but as the saying goes you get what you pay for.

Quality item - great compromise of strength vs weight - only criticism would be a few more tie out points but easily improvised so no great problem - interested to see how long the proofing lasts - nice feature is the attached packing pocket and lightweight guy lines

Fjallraven Abisko Tarp is very lightweight, durable and came with generous guyline. High recommended!!
