Great quality from Fjallraven and a great price.

Sizing however is wildly inaccurate. I would recommend sizing up one or two waist sizes! I am a 34” and have sized up to 36” and they are still a bit on the snug side.

Needed the trousers in a hurry for a stalking trip, if I hadn’t been in a rush for them I would have returned and ordered a 38”.

May just be this style, as I have other Fjallraven trousers in 34” which fit with plenty of room!

Fits perfectly, is durable and plenty of pockets for all the stuff you need to carry outdoors or travelling. 10 out of 10, not disappointed. A bit pricey but you have a garment for a long time.

So far so good, do the job with plenty of pockets ! Fit very well with room to move ! The Ray Mears belt works well with them too !

Best trousers ever! Really well made, really useful pocket layout, comfortable, strong and really come into their own after a couple of wax applications. Also consider the Vidda pro with the elastic leg hem, but would go for the longer leg version if you are tall. I have not found any trousers better than these. I have three pairs in case they stop making them.

Worth the money. Going to wax them in winter and wash them in the summer. Long but will sort out a permanent solution to that soon. Fabric noticeably better than cheaper trekking trousers I've bought.

Excellent item , prefect fit around the waist . A bit too long on the legs due to me being a bit on the short side. Otherwise superb, well made, comfortable to wear, great quality. Pity Fjallraven wouldn't make the trousers with a short leg.

Great trouser made from quality material. The unfinished leg is great for those with a longer leg. I am a 36 inch inside leg and there was plenty of material to hem them to the required length.

The trousers fit well however I am very disappointed with the colour. The description says dark olive which should be a dark green. I am afraid my trousers are brown. No way of knowing if this is a bad batch from the factory. I would not have bought these trousers if I had known about the dark brown colour. Very disappointed and feel let down by picture and colour description by a market leading trouser brand.

Very comfortable trousers. Bought for winter walking in the UK. Very high quality construction. Useful pockets. Very sturdy fasteners (no sewed on buttons!) reinforced around the bottom, so no worries when sitting on rocks. Also, another really useful feature is that there are no rear pockets. In my experience, the buttons catch on seats and the contents get squashed when you are sitting. Well thought out, comfortable and built to last. Very highly recommended.

I live in Fjällräven trousers. They're perfect for rural life: gundog walking/training, wildlife watching and photography, country sports and walks, gardening and forest work. These Barents Pros are my 12th pair of various Fjällrävens, so I knew what to expect '� consistent sizing, well made, durable material and practical design with an excellent choice of functional pockets. All of my others are size 52, but the older ones (c.9 years) are getting a little tight around the midriff when worn over tucked-in clothing. Which suggests a little shrinkage over time, though certainly not enough to notice in a single wash if you follow the care instructions. This time, I bought size 54. I washed and deliberately tumble-dried them first to try to pre-shrink them (it didn't shrink them much!) before having them shortened (£10). Result: perfect roomy but not baggy fit. I don't mind the 'raw' excess length as it enables a perfect length to be achieved (the spare's kept for patching). I have several fixed-length press-stud Fjällrävens, which are convenient with 10-eyelet boots. But a simple 'trouser-twist' made from a 6'� length of scrunched Tubigrip achieves the same result with the Barents Pro and provides more tick resistance in the forest '� plus they're more comfortable with wellies and look less weird with shoes or ankle boots!
I've applied wax to some of my Fjällrävens. It doesn't 'waterproof' them, but it increases water resistance, speeds up the drying process and improves durability, so it's useful on high-wear areas. [Having done extensive military training in Scandinavian winters, I suspect Fjällräven's waterproofing wax was originally intended for such cold conditions (where it'd work well), rather than for soggy mild Britain!] I use over-trousers for all-day driving rain, or a pair of Hydratic-lined Fjällrävens if it's cold with heavy showers forecast.

Brilliant fit in terms of crotch position and leg widths to enable good freedom of movement without being overly baggy. This means they also look great and being able to tailor the leg length is a great idea when most outdoor trouser legs are far too long for those of us that are 5 ft 8 inches! My 3rd pair of these trousers (although its the first pair Ive bought through Woodlore). Really excellent trousers. Initially the price seems quite steep for a pair of trousers but it's actually well worth it for fit, practicality and longevity of the garments. Fit for me is superb and true to size with no shrinkage on a 40c wash. Takes a few weeks to really soften the fabric up, a bit like buying new Levis, but they are never uncomfortable even when brand new. Great service from Woodlore as well with good communication and next day delivery.

Great service from Woodlore - ordered Sunday evening, delivered Tuesday. I am sure these are going to be an epic pair of strides ...but...if you have not bought Fjallraven trousers before be aware they are NOT ready to wear. You will need the services of someone with the skills, and the right colour thread, to do a pro standard alteration to the leg length. There will be the best part of six to eight inches to cut off the bottom and then turn up. I suppose they do it to save money, I can see no upside to customer for this and there is such wastage it flies in the face of their 'environmentally friendly' company ethos. This is my third, and last, set of their trousers for that reason. Also, no arse pocket on these where you would normally stick your wallet.

I have many trousers by Fjallraven from Keb, Vidda Pro, Nils and this is my second pair of Barent Pro. I wear the Barent pro more as a leisure trouser for dog walking etc and they are robust, comfortable and more roomy than the fitted styles of Vidda Pro. I am a 32 waist (48) but usually opt to go to (50) 33-34 as they are more roomy. Although the trousers come in a raw length that you get adjusted yourself I think that Fjallraven should make them in a variety of leg lengths 32,34,36 as it seems that there is a lot of wastage due to the excessive material. Better for the environment? However this does not take away from the excellent finish, material and functionality of the trousers and their superb pocket set up.

Shipped and received quickly. I now have 3 pairs of these. Very comfortable and hard wearing. Have waxed them previously for the winter and they are waterproof.
Great idea making the legs long so you can alter them to fit. First time I've tried with knee pads and had to make a slight alteration to ensure pad was on the knee and not the shin but work well when need to take a knee.

Brilliant, fits true to size, light, comfy and flexible. Excellent quality.

These are the 5th pair of trousers I have had in Fjallraven's G1000 fabric, so I am a happy returning customer to the brand.

The fabric is very hard wearing, it dries quickly and does not weigh too much. The closely woven polycotton does mean that it is quite a hard fabric to start. One should not be put off by the fact that other fabrics feel nicer when put on for the first time. It will take quite a few washes (because it is very strong and closely woven) but the fabric will soften and you will be left with a very long lived comfortable garment. It is also not too quiet a fabric to start. The 'silent' G1000 is not quiet when new either though. It gets a lot quieter as it softens.

The fact that the fabric works well with wax is worth exploring, perhaps on the knees and seat if you sit down or kneel down a lot on wet surfaces, on seams if you walk through a lot of mud that will shorten the life of seams that rub or on the lower leg if you walk through a lot of long dew laden grass on otherwise dry days.

The pockets are good quality and seem to be of a useful size. All in all it's a quality product.

Arrived promptly. From the options available I chose the size smaller than my usual size which I found to be quite comfortable. The trousers are well made with various pocket types for tools and personal stuff.

Super-strong, very comfortable feel, great fit and comfortable to wear. Certainly as windproof as claimed, and has made walking along the north Kent shoreline a pleasure in the biting northerlies coming across the estuary. Thanks Woodlore Team.

Excellent trousers. I decided last minute to buy them just before I went to Canada and they have been great, fit well and are very comfortable I will definitely be buying more and again due to the speed of delivery.

As usual, fantastic service from Woodlore. Arrives within two days (often next day) these are the best trousers I've owned. I have four pairs now, I usually go a size down for better fitting in normal weather and my usual size gives enough room in winter to get thermals underneath.

These are simply the best trouser I have ever worn. Comfortable with plenty of pockets for storage, hardwearing & durable for trekking & camp days. Pricey yeah but the craftsmanship is second to none, they're made to last.
