I have to admit that I did not liked it when I received it, first it is way bigger generally than it appears in the photo, also it is about 2mm off (bigger) than 10mm at the widest end (in my case).
Now it is in my top three list of Bushcraft equipment, the more I use it the more I fall in love with it.
It is extremely well made and requires no effort for drilling. I loved it to the point I bought the smaller version and I take both of them with me in my outdoor trips. Absolutely love it. Definitely recommended.

Absaloutly fantastic tool, stays sharp and is very easy to control. As an arm chair wood worker this tool has allowed me to very easily attach legs and beaks to willow woodpeckers and oak kingfishers, make ash hinges and dowl together a yew box from the comfort of my living room. I find soft woods you can just start drilling were you want the hole but harder wood needs a small indent carved into it to keep the drill were you want it. Easily the best hand drill out there.

This Norwegian hand drill is a Beautiful tool. It oozes quality and Nordic alchemy, the drill is also razor sharp. very little effort is required to penetrate even hardwood. I also received this order very quickly.

Nicely made, as you'd expect from Julius Pettersson. Works perfectly, went through 3 year seasoned Hornbeam with little effort.

Once again another fantastic bit of craftsmanship from Julius, just waiting for the 5mm to be in stock and will buy that straight away to finish the set, can't wait.

I haven't used this tool yet, but it is beautifully crafted and knowing Julius it will work sensationally.

What an utterly superb tool! This small, light hand drill is a positive pleasure to use. It creates wonderfully clean holes in all timbers, hard and soft, from the amazingly sharp and carefully thought-out cutting teeth. The simplicity of its design means that it and its bigger brother which I also bought have a permanent place in my outdoors bag. Absolutely magnificent!
