Excellent delivery service by the Bushcraft team. Although the handle and tang feel light to handle this knife is extraordinarily well balanced. Extremely well crafted and for an essential tool a sheer piece of art, a thing of beauty. The sheath alone is a marvel to enjoy. You can feel the craftsmanship, skill care and love for the smithing art within this piece. You will not be disappointed.

It is a beautiful knife. Well made, balanced and sharp unlike many knives which are blunt from the factory, although I've not had chance to use it myself as yet. Its actually a present for my son who is a chainsaw operator. Like myself, I make woodland crafts and a sharp knife is safer than a blunt one.
I might buy another one for myself in the future.
Many thanks and bright blessings, Spike.

It's a nice little knife, although it's relatively roughly finished if you're after perfection. The handle is shaped nicely but needs finishing if you're wanting something smooth from day one. As it is, it is grippy and with time and usage it will wear in. The blade itself arrived slightly scratched, and the tip a fraction bent over. It's surprisingly light in weight. For £40 for a nice little fixed blade knife, it's understandable. If you want something with a better finish, I reckon you'll have to pay more than £40, and this includes a nicely shaped sheath, into which the knife sits snugly. Something had to give somewhere, and I reckon it was at the finishing stage. This can be rectified with a bit of titivating when you get it home, or just be patient and use it. It will be fine for light work, and although I wouldn't rely on it as my work horse battening, indestructible go with me everywhere knife, it will be fine for lighter duties. I haven't used it to carve with, but the blade is nice and small, which sometimes is just what is needed. It sharpens easily and you can get it to a keen edge. I wouldn't hammer it around too much though. It's pretty, it's very light, it has a nice sheath, it's 'rustic' and has a nice natural feel to it, i.e. no plastics - and it's £40! If that's what you're after, and many will find it is, then, with this in mind, I recommend. If you're after something solid, bashable, and perfect, then look for something else - and I suspect, pay more. At this price or a little more even, (trying to inflation proof myself here) it's a light little knife with pleasing aesthetics.
