Having had my eye on this Buck Saw case for a while my only concern was will it accommodate my Esker Folding Saw. Still, I was willing to take a chance since I am familiar with Ray Mears Bushcraft quality of products as I already own a few. When I received this case I found that the quality is high as I expected. Materials are first class and craftsmanship is truly old world quality. Indeed my Canadian made Esker Folding Buck Saw fits this case like a glove. It also accommodates my Gransfors Bruk forest axe famously. It makes an all round convenient package for the forest adventure. Easy to carry, easy to use and a pleasure to use! I'm very happy I finally decided to purchase this case. Good stuff!

The case is of good quality, however it was mentioned on your site that a 24 inch buck saw would fit into it. I found that the 24 inch Agawa Boreal did not fit in it because of its length. Thereafter I baught the Agawa Canyon Boreal21 with shorter length, and it did fit.

Seems like great quality and a super convenient way to carry my saw and axe.

It IS a little too snug with a GB small forest axe and Esker folding bucksaw however I expect it will stretch a bit and fit nicely after a short break-in period.

Well made product. While I don't have a RM buck saw it takes my 24 inch saw and GB small forest axe albeit snuggly! I bought this for canoe trips and safe carriage while leading scouts.

Perfectly fits my Gransfors Scandinavian Forest Axe and my own creation (wooden) saw. I have just tried to fit and hang over my shoulder. Never used, but it feels wonderful. It can be also easily attached to a backpack side.

I have had the original Ray Mears Buck Saw for many years, and the original case only accommodated the saw and served more as a protective sleeve than a carrying case, so I opted to upgrade to this newer style. This case has the same high quality finish that I have come to expect from their other leather and canvas work. It fits the buck saw and Wilderness Axe beautifully. The paracord shoulder strap has a small leather pad which should prevent it digging in, which is a problem highlighted by other reviewers. Overall another superb piece of Woodlore/Ray Mears gear!

Very well made, it takes my Buck Saw and Small Forest Axe without any issues. I wouldn't want to use the paracord strap for any length of time but it serves the purpose. The case straps easily to the side of my Fjallraven Stubben pack. Very pleased, to date I can't fault Woodlore for their service and responsiveness.

The Ray Mears Folding Bucksaw Case is of premium quality, and now a vital part of my kit. It holds my axe and folding bucksaw perfectly. The canvas is very strong grade and a lovely shade of green. As for the leather, it is beautifully made with the best stitching and logos on. A must have kit essential.

Holds my buck saw and a spare blade nicely, made of good quality canvas, looking forward to years of service.

An ideal case for my Bucksaw and Axe as I store them on the outside of my large pack when out for a few days. This keeps the main camp tools in one place. Great piece of kit.

Fit for the job in hand. I have fitted a thick, leather strap so that I can use it more comfortably with a heavier axe. Really well made and aesthetically pleasing. Great job.

I thought the whole thing was going to be leather but it turned out to be canvas with leather detailing, but it's still pretty cool. Their customer service cannot be beaten and it was a pleasure shopping with them.

I've been looking for a case for my saw and axe and this is the only thing out there that suits my needs. Craftsmanship is impeccable with this; fits my GB Scandinavian and 24 in bucksaw. However, I have to knock off a point for the shoulder strap. The paracord shoulder strap quickly became uncomfortable. It would have been much better if it came with a one inch shoulder strap. To remedy this, just use a shoulder bag strap, sling to a thicker paracord weave.

Amazing craftsmanship & quality; I wish I had the patience and skill to work canvas and leather. The securing toggle is really ingenious and my axe is safely secured. I might upgrade the shoulder strap; I do a lot of walking and I have a feeling that the single core strap supplied will quickly dig into my shoulder (hence only 4 stars).

The genius is within simplicity. It holds my Gransfors Bruks hunters axe in an effortless and convenient position, relieving me of an unnecessary rucksack on the move through the bush. A Boar hunters dream.

Lovley sheath, well made as one can expect, but with the Small Forest Axe the handle does not protrude through it as shown on the pictures, but maybe I did not read the description carefully. Nevertheless, it is a very nice, very well made piece of bushcraft gadget!

The case is well thought out and works well to keep two bushcraft tools secure on your person. It is well made, and I like the closure mechanism - simple, effective, and 100% natural. Style! Note that this product comes supplied with the actual bucksaw, so no need to buy one separately for your axe (buy a folding bucksaw and yet get a 'free' case. The buck saw is also quality. And razor sharp - handle carefully!) Off to the woods to get some wood to make a kuksa. I'll be taking my trusted saw and axe in my Woodlore case. Hands free, comfy, and secure. Buy one now.

The case is simple and does the task with ease, nothing more could be asked of a piece of outdoor gear. The only modification I made, was to add carabiners to the sling. This allowed me to attach the case to my pack with ease. Thank you.

I just received the Woodlore buck saw case and am very pleased with the purchase. The leather and canvas construction are top notch. The little leather thong latch works well to secure the case closed.
It easily holds my Wetterlings axe and buck saw all together in a nice easy to transport package, that I can sling over my should when out in the bush. Very nice all around! Thanks!
