Excellent quality and fit and finish. I use this for deer stalking kit such as latex gloves and sleeve cuffs and antiseptic wipes. The buckle strap is easy to open and close and the quality will provide a lifetime of use.

Beautifully made and of excellent quality, nice addition to any belt kit.

I was looking at this for sometime. I visited a bushcraft show and inspected everything that was marketed as a leather belt pouch. The prices where around £49 pound ish, the Ray Mears Leather Belt Pouch just stands out leagues ahead of all the ones I checked, quality of the construction and the continuous one piece belt and buckle faster is just a game changer. The thickness of the leather makes it an excellent choice.

So glad I finally bought this. I've been looking for a possibles bag for quite some time but most of the offerings are decidedly smaller, many only fitting an altoids tin in. This is the only leather bag of its size, the nearest equivalent is about 5 cm smaller in width. This allows me to keep a tinder tin, a fire steel, a ferro rod, two vials of magnesium shavings, a capped 2cm diameter copper tube container with spunks in, a little bag with waxed fire starting pellets in and a waxed canvas covered sheet of leather, about 6' by 12' for keeping tinder dry whilst lighting it on the wet ground. Oh, nearly forgot, a little length of fatwood the size of my forefinger and 3 pieces of flint. It's a bit like the tardis! It might be expensive, but you do pay for quality and this is an heirloom quality pouch, it's beautifully made. I like the buckle system because it's very secure and quiet in use, if you need it to be. It sits well on a belt without being floppy, I've found it will just go on my 2' (50mm) wide belt, even though it says it will only fit up to a 44mm belt. I haven't actually used it yet, but when I do, I think I'll have the belt on the outside of my clothing so I can swivel it round when I want to get into it and have it more out of the way when ai don't.
Altogether, I would definitely say for anyone on the fence about purchasing it to go ahead, you really won't regret it!

This pouch is made of superb quality leather, its capacity is deceiving and the buckle is of good quality brass. I certainly know that I will be able to trust it to not lose the things I place into it for safe keeping. I also look forward to using it for many years to come.

Woodlore leather work is second to none and this pouch is no exception. A real heirloom piece; the right size to hold your essential items, not too big to get in the way. Easy to open and refasten, even with gloves. A real thing of beauty.

A request - could Woodlore make a leather D ring dangler suitable to wear on a belt to clip my Hestra Gloves to when I am out and about outdoors please.

This is a lovely little belt pouch, the colour and finish is lovely. I have used the Norsol Leather balm on it and it has come up a treat. Now I'm planning on what I am going to keep in it; fire lighter and probably a small pocket knife etc. It fits and goes perfectly with the RM brown belt. Very happy with it.

An excellent product. Expensive, but of the highest quality. I also have 2 belts of the same type, one of which is running strong (except I've lost the loose retainer loop!) after 18 years. The leather only gets better with time and use. Don't be tempted to buy inferior stuff; if you want a superior leather pouch, go for this. Heirloom quality.

I have just received my Leather Belt Pouch and was amazed how quickly it arrived. Well done Parcel Force!

It's just perfect for my requirements as I wanted something to keep a rather expensive piece of electronic equipment in without getting damaged.

The construction is very well made and a good quality leather and the deep tan makes this a top product.

What a beautiful belt pouch. I upgraded from the Ray Mears canvas belt pouch that I have used for years and is still as good as the day that I bought it. This is one of those items that I have had on my wish list for a long time and the final item on my list of leather goods from Woodlore. Like all my purchases from Woodlore this is of exceptional quality, the finish of the leather is superb and it looks just like the photo on the website. More comfortable than the canvas pouch as I used to put more in it. This pouch is ideal for my Hudson Bay fire tin and the rest of my fire kit. Very comfortable to wear even with my Leaf Cutter Rucksack. This pouch is a pleasure to own and use, thank you once again Woodlore for top quality kit that I can depend on.

This is another great Ray Mears product, perfect for carrying all the little knick knacks one needs to hand on a days hiking, lovely quality finish and easily opened/closed with a neat secure brass buckle.

Exactly what I was looking for. Stylish and functional. Really well designed and made from robust Sadle grade leather, not the soft gutless leather you mostly find. Easy to undo/do up singlehanded and capacious enough for what I want. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Thank you.

Another successful purchase. Beautifully made handcrafted leather, an item you just know will last for many years and only improve with age.

This was a birthday present to myself and although expensive, the quality is excellent. The leather work and stitching is what I would expect from a handmade product, and I have no doubt will outlast me. I have purchased several items from Woodlore over the years and am always guaranteed that the service and quality is top notch.

Really well made, nice size. Attractive. Kinda pricey, but you'd be hard pressed to find something like this of equal quality for less!

Truly a piece of art and beautifully well made. I almost have all the leather goods from Woodlore but I have to say this one is something else.

Absolutely my favourite pouch. The quality and construction is amazing.

I hesitated buying this as I wasn't sure that it would be comfortable to wear or suit my needs. Being a belt pouch it has to be comfortable standing, sitting or driving etc. It's fine to wear though because it sits centred on the belt and doesn't droop. It's also made of solid, stiff leather and slides round your waist easily to adjust its position. I like to wear mine moving it from the front to the side as necessary. It is well made and looks like it will last a lifetime.
It is also simple to open and close one-handed and being stiff with a wide opening flap, taking things out and putting things in is easy.
For me it holds a passport and an iPhone 5 in it's own leather case, (you will have to measure your own phone). I've also got a decent sized pen knife and a pen in it. There is a small amount of depth left say for credit cards but I keep my credit cards separate in another smaller belt pouch because of the magnetic clasp on the phone pouch. (Magnets are not a good idea beside credit cards or anything else with a magnetic strip!)
The pouch that I was sent is slightly different to the illustrated one. Instead of the small stitched leather bridge on the front flap through which the main strap passes, the front flap is simply slotted. It does the same job.
It works for me. I'm very pleased with it and other people have made positive comments about it's quality. I'll be using it a lot.
I know that it was relatively expensive but time, durability and utility should outweigh any initial cost. And it's a thing of beauty.

Hello. Once again, top service and top quality from RM. Recommend 100%.

Nicely made but disappointed in the finish of the leather. The treatment is very uneven and blotchy. I understand the individuality of the leather as a natural product but this was not the quality or finish I expected for the price.
The shop is excellent to do business with.

Thanks for a quick delivery (less tan 24 hours door to door). The leather pouch is perfect for carrying smaller items when I'm not using a rucksack (first aid or compass, trail sharpening stone, fire stick, map). It's very well made and will last a life time. It is tight fitting on the belt, but I prefer it that way. There are times when I like to walk as light as possible, without a rucksack, and with my hands free. This pouch does the trick for carrying those small items that you might need along the trail. Thanks Ray/Woodlore. All the best, John.

Another quality product from Woodlore, made from tough leather and all stitched with a strong strap and buckle, big enough to keep all the things you want to keep safe and at hand. Mine holds a small sharpening stone, fire steel, tinder etc. I would highly recommend this leather belt pouch.

Lovely strong, good quality leather belt pouch. I was worried about the size, but it is a good size to fit lots of bits and pieces in but small enough not to be in the way. Very pleased with my purchase and goes nicely with the Ray Mears Leather Belt bought at the same time.

Miss Michelle Colman

I love this belt pouch. It looks tidy and isn't too big, it's well made and is quiet to open, unlike Velcro. I hope I get many years out of it.

I love this pouch. The leather is really high quality, as is the stitching. It has a classic look of quality. It was exactly what I was looking for. I use it for carrying my Spyderco knife, fire steel and led AAA maglite. I also carry a tube of spare medication, brass button compass and CRKT eat 'n' tool.
The strap and buckle on the pouch allows me to fasten the contents securely but also to access them easily.

Really nice and very well made. It has made an old man very happy. Would recommend.

Superb quality. Great companion to the Bushcraft knife's leather belt sheath. Plenty of storage space for my possibles, yet not bulky. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent quality leather pouch. If looked after this will last a lifetime. It's perfect for keeping the small items that you use regularly easily at hand.

A surprisingly roomy possibles bag. I now carry some para cord, a lighter, tinder card, a torch, whistle and credit card-sized mobile telephone.
This pouch is attached to my belt, alongside my knife, marching compass and water bottle. Beats queuing at McDonalds.

As a perfectionist, I want the very best.

The Ray Mears "Leather First Aid Pouch" is just that.

The craftsmanship is the absolute finest, only matched by the equally fine Woodlore knife sheath.

The name "First Aid Pouch" does not do this beautiful item justice, and in my opinion it should be called "The Leather Possibles Pouch."
The old mountain men would have given their eye teeth for this pouch.

It's compact size seems to be an illusion, as inside I've found room for over 18 items:

Matches in match safe
Whistle
Signal mirror
Safety pins
Pencil
Writing paper
Duck tape
Dental floss
Iodine
Cotton pads
Poly bag
Aspirins
Plasters
Elastic bands
Tweezers
Photon light
Tinder
Button compass
Candle
Fishing hooks and line
Needle and thread

They are all accessable.

Iv'e recently returned from an expedition to Africa, and only wish that I had found this item earlier.

I whole heartedly recommend this fine leather Possibles Pouch. By the way, it smells good as well!
