The Ray Mears Leather Coffee Pouch is based on a traditional Sami design just like our spice and dry food pouches and is a beautiful and practical way to protect, transport and store powdered and granulated food stuffs or other small items. Ray has been using this style of leather storage pouch for many years in his travelling brew kit and often in his expedition camp kitchen.

Made from a fine grained, tactile calf skin in a rich dark chocolate colour, this mid-sized bag is perfect for taking such foodstuffs as ground coffee, sugar, milk powder, and more into the woods for some outdoor culinary action. However, they're just as suitable for storing your tinder and fire-lighting kit.

The rounded shape of the bag aids access to the contents – less scraping into corners. These luxuriously soft pouches are also more packable than hard canisters, squashing down to the size of the contents to avoid carrying unnecessary bulk. The flexible shape can be packed into convenient gaps and pockets when the contents have been part used.

The bag is closed by way of the attached 'self-gripping' twisted leather cord, more effective and easier to use than a flat leather tie. The leather swing tag carries the Ray Mears 'snowshoe' logo and is left undyed on the reverse to allow you to write on the pouch contents if desired.

Please store your foodstuffs in standard plastic food bags within the leather pouch; the hide helps to prevent punctures and spills.

Orders with a total value over £300.00 will be dispatched free via a next day delivery service within the UK at no extra cost.

A full refund or exchange will be given provided that the items have not been worn or used, and are returned to us within 30 days of purchase, together with all relative labels and packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning items.
