The sheath sports the Ray Mears ‘snowshoe’ logo and secures by means of the matching metre long leather thong provided.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe body is cut from a single piece of 3mm thick leather, folded around a shaped, double layer welt and hand-stitched with a waxed and braided polyester thread. The edges are bevelled and dyed a dark brown to match the thread before being burnished to give the high standard of finish you expect from our leatherwork.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis sheath provides a more secure and elegant means of protecting your blade, yourself and your other equipment than alternative, DIY methods.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eChoose from right or left handed versions to match your Ray Mears Crooked Knife. To secure the sheath, bind the long end of the leather thong tightly around the upper part of the sheath where it cups the whipped section of the knife handle (as shown).
