The Ray Mears Leather Woodlore Knife Pro Sheath – Belt has been hand-made from start to finish, and the finished article truly reflects the workmanship that has gone into it. This particular model features a generous belt loop which is stitched into the main seam, the shape of which allows the sheath to be laid more horizontally when the wearer is seated. This sheath is a durable, high-quality product which is sure to keep your knife protected and safely concealed.
Many knife sheaths may look similar on the outside, but what makes a sheath do the job safely and securely is what is on the inside: it must fit the knife in all particulars to prevent movement by allowing the blade to bed slightly into the welt and also provide a fit in the handle section while still allowing the knife to be smoothly withdrawn.
The knife sheath has been designed to complement the lines of the Woodlore Knife Pro, tapering with the blade, with a steeper slope at the mouth of the sheath and featuring gently defined curves punctuated by an 'elbow' where the base of the handle sits.
This sheath maintains the same tapered design, curves and angles as the Woodlore Knife Pro Sheath – Neck but can be worn on your belt. Available in both right handed and left handed versions to suit your needs.
All of our leather and canvas goods are hand-made by Woodlore's resident leather worker Becky Brewster, a craftswoman with decades of experience. The leather used in this product is vegetable tanned with full, natural grain and hand-dyed in house to the unique Woodlore rich brown colour.
