The Swazi Tahr Ultralite Jacket is made from Swazi’s lightest weight AEGIS® Watershield Strata fabric which now has a 20:20k waterproof and breathability rating.
This generation (gen II) of AEGIS® Strata fabric is far tougher than its predecessor, giving you added strength and stretch for vigorous movements.
This light weight jacket is an ideal alternative to the Tahr XP Anorak.
The Watershield 3-layer Strata fabric is flexible, super comfy and very quiet, perfect for stalking roaring stags.
This jacket features the legendary Swazi high periphery vision hood, offering excellent peripheral vision while keeping wind and rain at bay.
The inner conforms to the contours of your face, while the outer protrudes into an adjustable peak, stiffened with a durable liner and concealed wire-lined frame. This hood can also be used to fold the jacket in to, for easy packing.
The Tahr Ultralite features elasticated cuffs with Velcro to ensure a snug and secure fit while maintaining comfort. The adjustable waist cord helps to customise the fit, while the longer length and scalloped tail provides extra coverage from the elements.
The jacket is equipped with the classic hand-warmer pockets for easily accessible storage with water resistant zippers to secure your belongings. There is also the benefit of an internal dry chest pocket.
Please note: These garments are made from an ultralight fabric. Care must be taken that you do not rip or puncture the membrane through excessive hard wear e.g. agricultural or commercial use, spikey vegetation or in environments which may subject the fabric to be damaged.
