It is a long time since I last backpacked and camped, last time was pre children and I'm now approaching retirement so I was a bit apprehensive and I have got used to good hotel beds. I am delighted to say this mattress far exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and I can't fault it.
Also, it packs remarkably small and light but everyone knows that.
I had a slight glitch and had to contact customer services, I would give them 6 stars. This is an absolutely excellent company to deal with and I can't recommend them highly enough.

I was previously using an Exped Downmat UL Winter model but wanted an alternative mat that packs smaller, lighter but retaining the high R value for winter use. This is perfect. Seems more durable too with the bottom of the mat being a more sturdy material. Looking forward to heading out on winter camps with lighter gear, smaller rucksack and still staying snug and warm at night.

Had this product for over a year now, fantastic bit of kit, was camping out early this year (2019) in a hammock in minus 3 and every time I turned on my side my back got cold, as soon as I lay on my back within seconds I could feel the heat radiate back to me warming my back. You get what you pay for and will definitely increase your ability to keep warm and comfortable.

After a lot of reviews on this item I wasn't disappointed. As always Ray Mears website is excellent.

Very small pack size. Easy to inflate with the bag. Very comfy to sleep on.

Dear Woodlore, you are just a wonderful website and company. The goods I purchased from you arrived safely and on time, and are very good. In relation to the Therm-A-Rest NeoAir sleeping mattress, I can share that I have just tested it so far at home and I am looking forward to testing it next week in the mountains. But it looks like a really wonderful product. It is light, but also comfortable and well insulating. It's really the best I could find given its product features. So thank you again for your service.
