Here at Woodlore HQ, we asked the members of our full-time team to pick their favourite courses and pieces of kit from our range, to find out just what it is that makes them so good. These tough, ankle-high boots are one of the most comfortable items of footwear I’ve worn; they are more like a pair of slippers than boots, in terms of comfort. Personally, they rarely leave my feet, and the same goes for most people I’ve spoken to who own a pair. They are equally at home with a pair of jeans in town as they are with outdoors wear in the woods, which makes them a firm personal favourite. Of course, they excel in dry conditions; after all, they are designed for the desert. Naturally, they are very light and airy, their grip on rock and most ground conditions is very good and they are extremely quiet which means they are particularly good for approaching wildlife and are a great choice for many other activities.
