We are delighted to announce an exciting new development for the Birch Bark Canoe Building course taking place in July this year. One lucky course participant will leave the course with the completed Birch Bark Canoe! Each client on arrival will have the chance to enter a draw and a name will be drawn at random from a hat at the end of the course. This exceptionally rare and unique craft will be theirs to take home and enjoy for many years to come.

During this exciting course a small group of clients will be joined by Ray Mears and master craftsman Pinock Smith, an Algonquin Indian descended from a long line of great canoe builders. Together, over the period of a week, they will build a truly unique and rare craft and will witness an ancient process that inspires, fascinates and amazes.
