Not yet had the chance to use but item arrived beautifully made and ready to go - simple effective mechanism for hang and setting of the tripod no frills - only downside side is it's a solidly built item that you wont fit in the backpack :)

When it's dark and there's an onshore breeze around a pot of stew cooking over my solo stove, I'm a bit of a ponce & want a guarantee that my tripod will take the weight and the breeze. It doesn't pack down or come apart with each leg slotting into a mate, so you're in effect carrying the legs at half their length which I was looking for. But it absolutely takes the weight needed with plenty of strength in reserve. The chain held ring at the top works but you need to practice best or strongest configuration so it doesn't collapse. I'd put up some photos but can't find a way to upload images. Very satisfied with the kit.

Works brilliantly and more portable than you'd think. Used it several times to cook memorable meals round the campfire.

Really nicely made and obviously made to last. I have used it several times already. Apart from hanging cookware, I have also used it for spit roasting. Recently I fashioned a simple wire cradle to hold a spit which hangs from the tripod hook over the fire. The chain and hooks allow for easy temperature control as your fire burns down.

I have yet to use this fully in the field but I am very pleased with the build quality. It's not an item that I will be using a lot but I believe, over time, this will prove to have been a very worthwhile purchase.

Quality kit which will easily outlast me!
